PLEASE NOTE: Kennel Cough has been identified in the area. We require all dogs to be up-to-date with their vaccinations. Please note that even with vaccinations, your dog could still be susceptible to kennel cough, as vaccines are not always 100% effective. Happytails does not assume any risk for the transmission of Kennel Cough, and owners assume their own risk when boarding dogs.

The Cochrane Ecological Institute / Cochrane Wildlife Reserve Society is devoted to the preservation and conservation of cultural and biological diversity through education; the reintroduction of extirpated flora and fauna; rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife; monitoring and research.
Everyone thinks that some agency, probably a government funded one, protects and cares for wild animals in distress. This is not the case at all! No government agency is responsible for the rescue, treatment and release of injured or orphaned wildlife. The CEI is a not for profit organization, and we rely solely on funding and donations from the public. In order to be able to continue this important work with wildlife, proceeds from the kennel go to CEI’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Programs.
